This painting is a self portrait of myself. It’s how I perceive myself and how I believe others perceive me ! I remember first moving to the Netherlands and feeling like everyone was always staring at me and that I always seemed weird looking. So it helps me to paint myself in odd ways and perspectives and to find the beauty in whatever way I choose to look!
